Every player starts with a small square of land. Step outside it and you leave a trail; loop back home and everything inside your loop becomes yours. But while you are outside you are vulnerable: if anyone touches your trail, you are out. Turf Wars .io pits you against seven bots for control of the map.
How to play Turf Wars .io
- Steer with the mouse or arrow keys. On phones, drag anywhere: you head the way you drag.
- Leave your zone to draw a trail. Return to your zone to claim everything you enclosed.
- Touch a rival's trail to knock them out and free up their land.
- If someone touches your trail, or you hit your own trail or the wall while outside, you are out.
- Your score is the percentage of the map you own.
Tips & strategy
Small loops are safe loops
Short trips outside are hard to cut. Big loops pay more but take risks.
Watch the nearest rival
If a bot heads for your trail, turn for home straight away.
Hunt trails
A rival far from home with a long trail is an easy knockout.
