How to play Word Guess
- Type any real five-letter word and press Enter.
- Green means the letter is in the word and in the right spot.
- Yellow means the letter is in the word but in a different spot.
- Grey means the letter is not in the word at all.
- Solve it in six tries. Share your colour grid without spoiling the answer.
Tips & strategy
Start with common letters
Words like SLATE, CRANE or RAISE test the most common vowels and consonants at once.
Use new letters early
On your second guess, try five fresh letters instead of reusing greys.
Watch for double letters
If you are stuck, the answer may repeat a letter, like EERIE or SPOON.
