Line up against five rivals on a sky highway above a sunset canyon. The road has gaps, so when you hit the ramp your electric supercar folds its wheels and flies. Hold boost to stay airborne, grab energy cells and land first. Volt Racer 3D is a fast 3D racing game that plays free in your browser.
How to play Volt Racer 3D
- Steer with ← → or A D. On phones use the buttons on the left and the pedals on the right.
- Corners push you outward. Steer into the turn early, and lift off or brake on the tightest bends.
- Before a gap, hit the orange ramp. In the air, hold Shift (or ⚡) to fly. Flying uses energy.
- Drive over blue boost pads for a burst of speed. Collect green energy cells to refill.
- Finish 3 laps. Better places earn more credits for faster cars that fly further.
Tips & strategy
Save energy for the long gap
The middle gap is the widest. Arrive with at least half your energy bar.
Take the inside line
Cutting the inside of a corner is shorter, and the AI leaves room on the inside.
Boost out of corners
Nitro on the ground is most useful right after a turn, not before it.
Fly low, fly far
Start holding boost as soon as you leave the ramp. Every metre you drop costs energy to climb back.

Most free car racing games keep you on the ground. Volt Racer adds a second skill: managing energy through flight sections over the canyon. Miss a gap and you are dropped back before the ramp, so every jump matters.
